Chapter 4: Torn in between the two [Torn -Letoya Luckett]
It's been about 4 months since Diggy & Lex split. Remember her birthday when her and Trevante exchanged numbers? Well they've been texting every day since the split, and I think Lex is starting to feel him but she still has feelings for Diggy. Trevante was in town and Lex was meeting him at Rocafeller Center for some ice skating. Lex wants to look cute but comfy and can't decide what to wear.
Lex: What to wear, what to wear?
Lex can't decide so she calls Nisha. If someone can help her with a outfit crisis it's Nisha.
Nisha: Hey Lex, Wassup?
Lex: What are you doing? I need you over her like now.
Nisha: I'll be there in 2 mins Im down the street.
Lex hears the doorbell and it's mrs. save the day (Nisha).
Nisha: Heyyyyyy the fashionista has arrived *twirls*
Lex: Girl please. Come on and help me.
Nisha: First, where are you going?
Lex: *blushes* Ice skating, Tre is in town.
Nisha: Smh. You moving fast chick.
Lex: What I've known him for a while and he helped me a lot with my Diggy problems.
Nisha: Yeah ight, whatever.
Lex: Anyways, pick me out some outfits.
Nisha: *rubs hands together* Let me work my magic.
Nisha picked out 2 outfits. #1 was a black blazer, baby pink long sleeve blouse , dark wash skinny jeans and her baby pink uggs and a cute grey scarf to throw on. #2 was a white peacoat , wide leg jeans, her gray black red & white burberry scarf and the louboutin booties Diggy got her for her birthday.
Lex: Girl Im glad to have you around, uhmmmm I chose #1. I don't want to have on anything Daniel got me.
Nisha: Good choice, well either way you would of looked cute. Im out though, Justin's leave to go visit UCLA in the morning and Im chill with him tonight. Have fun and call me when you get in.
Nisha leaves and heads to Justin's. Lex calls Tre to let him know she was on her way. About 10 minutes later, she arrives and boy was Tre there looking fine in his peat coat and boots. Her smile faded because Diggy loves pea coats & boots but she wasn't going to think about him. Tre walks up and gives Lex a huge hug.
Tre: Well damn girl, you look beautiful.
Lex: Awww thanks. You look very handsome, I love the outfit *smiles* .
Tre: Thank you. So have you been here before?
Lex Pov: Of course I've been here before. Me and Diggy use to come every weekend, but ugh I can't tell him that. What the hell Daniel get out my head.
Lex: Yeah me & Nisha come here all the time. How about you?
Tre: Yeah when I was younger, but not recently. You ready to go skate though? *holds out hand to lead Lex to the rink*
Lex: *grabs his hand* Of course Im ready.
Meanwhile Nisha is over at Justin's talking about what's going to happen with them when he's over in Cali for a while.
Nisha: So you excited about going to Cali?
Justin: Yeah I get to see my pops, Christian & Digg. Plus I get to visit UCLA.
Nisha: Yeah well I hope you have fun *sad voice*.
Justin: Why you sound so sad? I've been to LA before when we were together.
Nisha: I know but we're older now and before you would just got for a day or 2. This time it's for a couple of weeks.
Justin: Im a good guy. Trust me baby, I won't hurt you.
Nisha: Okay, I believe you *kisses him*. Now Ima go so you can get some rest, you have an early flight.
Justin: Okay baby, I love you *kisses her back*.
Nisha: *walks out the door* I love you too.
On the drive home Nisha is thinking about how she just lied to her boyfriend and told him she trust him, she honestly didn't. He's going to be out there with his best friend and who knows what they are going to do. Meanwhile Tre & Lex are on there way back to Lex's after an amazing date.
Lex: That date was amazing.
Tre: Mmmmmm so it was a date? *smiles*
Lex: *giggles* Yes it was.
Tre: Well in that case, yes it was an amazing date. Even though I feel, but it's all good *laughs*
They pull up to Lex's house and Tre wanted a good night kiss.
Lex: Thanks again for an amazing night.
Tre: No problem. We'll plan another one soon.
Lex: I'm looking forward to that *kisses him* . Good night.
Tre: *smiles* Good night.
Lex runs in the house and calls Nisha on iChat.
Nisha: WHATTTTTTT *sleepy voice*
Lex: Heffa are you sleep?
Nisha: No wassup?
Lex: My date was amazing. Im really starting to like Trevante. In the words of you, "HE'S EVERYTHINGGGGGG"
Nisha: Awww that's cute *sad voice*
Lex: What's wrong?
Nisha: Nothing Im fine.
Lex: Nisha what is wrongggg?
Nisha: Im scared for me & Justin's relationship when he goes to LA.
Lex: Girl don't be scared. He knows better. Get some sleep & I'll talk to you tomorrow.
Nisha: Okay. Good night sis.
Lex hangs up and just as she was getting settled for bed her phone rung. It was a text……. from Diggy. Lex begins to read his text to herself out loud.
Diggy’s Text: Hey Nyla! I know it's been a while since we last spoke. I was just checking on you to see how you were doing. I also wanted to let you know that I still think about you and you will always have a place in my heart. But you're probably sleep or getting ready for bed so good night and sweet dreams. I love you, yes I still do and always will.
Tears grew in Lex's eyes. The way he felt about her still is the same way she felt about him. Lex decided to text him back.
Lex's Text: Hey Simba! Yeah I know it's been a while. Thanks for checking on me, Im doing fine, hanging in there. All that means a lot and the feeling is mutual. I am getting ready to go to bed though, good night and don't be a stranger. Btw, I love you too.
Lex's Pov: Torn in between the two, great. I really like Trevante, but I love Diggy. What the heck am I going to do?
